About Me

mycatbanditI wrote my first book in when I was 10 years old. Despite being assuredly terrible, it won a contest and was professionally printed, bound and placed in the school library. Now, some twenty years later, My Cat Bandit: And Her Amazing Life remains the only book I’ve ever written—my magnum opus.

This blog, however, is a sign of the changing times. I recently made the not-so-dramatic shift from being an aspiring screenwriter, to an aspiring novelist. The reasons behind this shift are probably straightforward to those in the writing field, but to anyone else, they will become clear over the ensuing entries.

I am currently in the midst of writing my first (non-cat-biographical) novel, which will be abbreviated throughout this blog as TSP. All I can disclose in these early stages of development is that it’s a sci-fi novel set in modern times, about a government agent involved in a covert operation to explore other worlds
(I know what you’re thinking: “Thanks a lot, vaguey-McVagueson”).

wifeandiThis blog will serve as a creative outlet throughout my writing process. And will, with a little luck, open a channel of communication between myself and future readers.

When I’m not writing, I spend my days working as a graphic designer in Los Angeles, and then at home with my doting wife and our demented cat (much to my current cat’s dismay, I have no intention of writing a book about him).
